I’m Bilingual Music Classes

MKI’s popular and fun bilingual music classes expose children to music and language of world cultures and traditions while engaging in lively circle songs and typical dances, rhythmic chants, bounces and rhymes. Support material and handouts accompany all of our classes. Learning languages at a very young age through an immersion format is the first step to becoming a bilingual child!

Spanish Music Classes

French Music Classes

Mandarin Music Classes

I’m Bilingual Language and Art Class (3 1/2 – 5 Years)
Spanish and Puppets Classes
“Musical Kids International is the only school that allowed my 3 year old and 4.5 year old to participate in the same class together. Spanish Puppets offers a fun way for them to learn Spanish (via music, arts, and crafts) rather than a pure academic approach. I don’t know how Yolanda did it, but she managed to find the most talented, passionate and energetic teachers in New York!”

Spanish and Puppets is a full Spanish immersion class for children. The aim of this class is to develop vocabulary through fun arts-based activities. The year culminates with a puppet show created by the children! All classes incorporate bilingual memory games, music, stories and art projects centering on main learning units that include family, food, transportation, clothing, animals and seasonal topics. Children do not need prior knowledge of Spanish to enroll in this class. (45 min)
I’m Bilingual Flamenco Dance Class (4-7 Years)
Spanish and Flamenco Classes
This class welcomes all boys and girls that love to dance! Build Spanish vocabulary while dancing Flamenco. ¡Olé!
Professional flamenco teachers will teach children traditional Flamenco braceos (arm and hand exercises), zapateado (foot exercises) and marcajes (marking and traveling steps in rhythm), that help develop steady beat and style. Children will also enjoy the vueltas (Spanish dance turns) and palmas (keeping rhythm by clapping). The end of the year culminates with a Flamenco Floor Show for family and friends.
All music, language and dance classes are 45 minutes
